Ottawa County Geographic Information System (GIS)

GIS (Geographic Information Systems), according to gis.com, "is a framework for gathering, managing, and analyzing data. Rooted in the science of geography, GIS integrates many types of data..."

GIS mapping is used extensively in Ottawa County. It is used in parcel mapping, subdivision plat mapping, Board of Elections voter locating, E-911 location-based response services (LBRS), CAUV soil calculations, road and bridge data collection, water and sewer data collection, and a myriad of other uses.

To download zip files of the GIS layers, please visit our GIS & Data Downloads page by clicking here. GIS data and aerial imagery can also be obtained by bringing in your own external hard drive. For custom GIS or mapping projects, please call Rebecca Markajani at the contact below.
